AFTER CARE

The complete healing process typically spans from 4 to 6 weeks, contingent upon individual factors like body regeneration and age. Throughout this period, your newly microbladed eyebrows will evolve through various stages.

Immediately after the procedure, the pigment may seem somewhat unnatural, and any redness in the color or skin will gradually diminish within the next week. The pigment's hue may darken notably by the following day.

It's important to note that due to the natural regeneration of the skin, the eyebrows may appear lighter than the original color after the initial healing period (7-10 days). This can create an impression of rapid fading, even with proper care, leading to potential unevenness, which commonly necessitates a touch-up after 10-12 weeks.

Here's what to expect and how to care for your eyebrows following the microblading procedure:

Days 1-2:

  • Gently cleanse your eyebrows morning and night with a mild cleanser like Cetaphil.

  • Pat dry using a clean paper towel (avoid rubbing).

  • Apply a thin layer of provided aftercare cream; refrain from using any other products on your brows.

Days 2-4:

  • Expect the treated area to appear darker, sharper, and more intense than anticipated; this is normal.

Days 5-8:

  • The treated area may feel itchy or appear flaky during this period; resist the urge to pick, peel, or scratch.

Days 9-10:

  • The treated area might appear waxy as the skin heals; avoid worrying if it seems unsaturated or dull, as the color will gradually return.

Day 14 onwards:

  • The color of the treated area should normalize and become even and smooth; however, complete skin healing may not have occurred yet, and some areas may not retain pigment.

Day 30:

  • Your skin should be fully healed and ready to resume your regular skincare routine; it typically takes 4-6 weeks to fully heal a cosmetic tattoo and witness the true result.

During your touch-up session, minor adjustments to shape and color can be made based on your assessment. Touch-up appointments are typically scheduled around 12 weeks after the initial session.

For the first 10 days following the procedure, avoid the following:

  • Sweating

  • Makeup

  • Soaking

  • Oils, moisturizers, or ointments

  • Sun exposure

  • Touching

Minimize direct contact with the showerhead, and try to sleep on your back to prevent rubbing pigment out of the skin. Keeping your brows as dry as possible during this period is advisable.

Once fully healed, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 to 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun to prevent premature fading of the color pigment.
