Policies

  • AURORA PRIVATE STUDIO AND BUJU TATTOO ARE a licensed tattoo studio and legally we cannot allow anyone under the age of 18 to be inside the studio under any circumstances.

I reserve the right to refuse my tattooing service to anyone for any reason at anytime.

A valid ID is required at the time of your service. If you do not have a physical valid ID, we cannot proceed with your appointment and a new deposit will be required to book again.

You must fill out consent forms prior to your arrival. These will be sent to you via text and there is a link to them on my booking page.

By booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing to all policies, pricing and information provided on this website.

I allow one supportive friend/partner to accompany you to your appointment.

At BUJU Tattoo, unfortunately they do not have the space available.

I kindly ask that you wait inside your car and text me when you arrive. My phone # will be sent to you in your confirmation email.

ALL APPOINTMENTS WILL BE RECORDED BUT YOU CAN SELECT YOUR CONSENT TO BE POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

On Monday’s, Jeanie works at BUJU Tattoo. 914 W Washington St (Street parking only)

JAURORA CONNECTION LLC is not responsible for any parking violation fees you may incur during your appointment.

If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled, and a new booking fee will be required to book again.

I am currently scheduling follow up appointments 3 months after your initial appointment. This will be booked on the same day of your first appointment.

  • ALL booking fees ARE NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

The booking fee ensures that you are serious about the appointment.

The booking fee is intended to reserve your appointment time and ensure that adequate resources, including time and materials, are allocated for your service.

By collecting a booking fee, we can better manage our schedule and minimize the occurrence of appointment cancellations or no-shows, which can disrupt our operations and impact other clients who may be waiting for availability.

Cancelling your appointment at any time will result in the forfeiture of your booking fee.

Touch ups must be done within 4-6 months from the first procedure or there will be an additional charge.

  • AURORA STUDIO allows you to reschedule an appointment one time before losing your booking fee. This policy also applies to touch ups, by rescheduling it more than once you are then forfeiting the complimentary session and you will be required to pay the touch up fee for a new appointment.

We require at least 48 hours notice to reschedule.

By not giving at least 48 hours notice you will forfeiture your deposit/complimentary touch up.

  • The first touch up is $100. The touch up allows us to see how well you retained pigment and make any necessary adjustments. Your first touch will be scheduled with your artist at your first session. It is typically 12 weeks after your initial session. This fee applies to brows and lash line tattoos.

  • JAURORA CONNECTION LLC AKA AURORA TATTOO STUDIO does not guarantee healed results for anyone.

Healed results vary from person to person. Skin type, lifestyle, excessive bleeding during the procedure, and aftercare will affect how you heal and retain pigment. All aftercare is listed clearly on my website. Please read PRIOR to booking your appointment with me.

Please be aware that tattooing is an art form. There are many variables that contribute to healed results. This is my craft and my passion. Every appointment has a piece of my life/my heart and I am invested in every human being that I meet and connect with.

**Some clients require additional sessions to achieve their desired results and will be charged accordingly.

Minor adjustments to shape and color may be made during the touch up session.

It will take at least 30 full days to see your results.

**I deeply care about my clients and please do not hesitate to reach out if you ever have a concern or question. You can text me anytime.

    DISCLAIMER:

By undergoing the procedure of cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup or microblading, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

Voluntary Decision: You acknowledge that the decision to undergo cosmetic tattooing is entirely voluntary and of your own accord. You understand that the procedure involves the application of pigment into the skin, and the results are intended to be semi-permanent.

Informed Consent: You affirm that you have been fully informed about the potential risks, limitations, and variations in the outcome of the procedure. You have had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification regarding any aspect of the procedure.

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that cosmetic tattooing carries inherent risks, including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, dissatisfaction with the results, and the possibility of needing touch-up procedures. You accept these risks and understand that no guarantees or warranties have been made regarding the final outcome of the procedure.

Individual Variations: You understand that the final appearance of the tattooed area may vary depending on individual factors such as skin type, skin tone, skin condition, and lifestyle habits. The healed results may not necessarily match the initial expectations or appearance immediately after the procedure.

No Liability: You agree that the tattoo artist, JAurora Connection LLC, shall not be held liable for any dissatisfaction with the results, complications arising from the procedure, or any other damages or losses, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive, arising out of or in connection with the cosmetic tattooing procedure.

Consultation and Aftercare: You understand the importance of following pre-procedure instructions provided by the tattoo artist and adhering to the post-procedure aftercare guidelines to optimize healing and minimize the risk of complications.

Legal Age: You affirm that you are of legal age to undergo cosmetic tattooing in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to consent to the procedure.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JAurora Connection LLC, its employees, agents, and affiliates, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to your decision to undergo cosmetic tattooing.

  • Color refreshers are for existing clients only. Color refreshers are recommended every 3-5 years but are not required. As your tattoo ages, the color will dull and fade. The strokes will become less visable. I ask clients wait until your tattoo is about 40% faded before you book an appointment to refresh. This will prevent your tattoo from getting too saturated over time and help give it a more natural look long term.

Pigment migration may lead to the blurring of tattoo edges, color distortion, or the appearance of the tattoo spreading over time. While efforts are made to minimize pigment migration through proper technique and aftercare, it is a recognized risk associated with tattooing procedures. Clients should be aware of the possibility of pigment migration and understand that its occurrence is beyond the complete control of the tattoo artist.

By allowing your tattoo time to fade and implanting the minimum amount of hair strokes, this reduces the risk of migration.

  • Refund Policy

At Aurora Tattoo Studio, we're committed to providing top-notch services. To clarify our approach to refunds for cosmetic tattoo services, we've created this policy.

    Policy Statement:

    Scope:

This policy applies to clients who've had cosmetic tattoo services at Aurora Tattoo Studio and or any other studio where you receive a tattoo by Jeanie.

    No Refunds:

We don't issue refunds for tattoo services once they're done. Clients are required to sign a consent form acknowledging their understanding of the procedure, its potential risks, and the expected results before undergoing any cosmetic tattoo service. This ensures that clients make an informed decision and are aware of the permanent or semi-permanent nature of the treatment.

    Pre-Procedure Consultation:

Before any procedure, we'll have a thorough chat with you to discuss details, answer questions, and ensure we're on the same page.

    Informed Consent:

You'll sign a form beforehand, acknowledging the procedure's risks and expected results. This ensures you're fully aware of what to expect.

    Post-Procedure Care:

We'll give you clear instructions on how to care for your tattoo afterward. Proper care is vital for best results, but it doesn't affect the refund policy.

    Disputes:

Any concerns can be discussed directly with us. We're here to ensure you're satisfied with our services.

    Conclusion:

We believe this policy maintains fairness and transparency. If you have questions or need clarification, just reach out to us.
